Dr Ashena has been my consultant at Queens Hospital in Romford since October 2021. During this time I had a number of consultations with regards an eye condition to my left eye. It concluded that surgery was necessary to correct a condition in that eye. I had surgery in February 2023, which was very successful. Since then I have had follow up appointments to monitor the progress of the condition and recovery of the eye, this has been excellent. During all my time as a patient, Dr Ashena has constantly explained to me how my eye has recovered after the surgery, I am very impressed with the care that I have received whilst a patient at Queens and no doubt this shall continue with further appointments I will be attending at the eye unit. Thank you very much for being so attentive.

I accompanied my father to see Dr Zahra at Shirley Oaks Hospital. The attention to detail and advise was clear, and Dr Zahra explained all options to my father and took care in appreciating his point of view. My father was so grateful for the advise and the manner in which the process was explained. After the visit my father told me that he felt very assured and is now in a better frame of mind having discussed his medical needs and the best direction of treatment. Dr Zahra was polite, soft spoken and professional in her approach. We are hopeful that Dr Zahra will operate on my father very soon.
